After successful completion of your portfolio, which can be achieved in as little as a week, you will have the knowledge you need to become a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and issue EPC reports.
The fast-track DEA online course provides successful candidates with the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment, allowing them to become an EPC Assessor for existing homes.
How does the online class work with a live trainer?

Course Structure
Day 1 covers the fundamentals of EPCs, building regulations, measuring conventions, property construction, and an introduction to RdSAP.
Day 2 focuses on insulation levels, the surveying process, site notes, floor plans, perimeter dimensions, heating and lighting, photographs, and renewable energy sources.
Day 3 covers case studies, data input exercises in the RdSAP software, EPC calculations, EPC production, portfolio guidance, and a Q&A session.
