These courses equip engineers with the skills to confidently install and commission Daikin air source heat pumps.
Altherma 3 LT Monobloc (R32)
This course will teach you the core installation and commissioning principles for the Daikin Altherma 3 LT Monobloc.
- Monobloc concept, product layout, and hardware installation
- System hydraulics, pipework, and valves
- Wiring and control boxes
- Water quality and pre-startup checks
Who is this course for?
Experienced plumbing and heating engineers looking to learn about the installation and maintenance of the Daikin Altherma 3 Monobloc heat pump.
Course Content
The course is delivered across four focused sessions.
- Monobloc concept: product layout, basic options, and hardware installation
- System hydraulics: pipework, automatic bypass valve, defrost water volume, flow rates, hydraulic separation, Esbe valve, and Siemens valve
- Common installation wiring: outdoor unit, control box, third-party controls, backup heater wiring, and domestic hot water cylinder
- Water quality: anti-freeze valves, glycol, and pre-startup checks
Final Assessment
The course includes short quiz questions at the end of each session and a final assessment at the end of session four.
Successful candidates receive a certificate of completion and become eligible to attend the Daikin Altherma LT Monobloc Standard Installation Level 2 course.
